First, there’s this widely reported piece regarding the UN climate change conference.

Minutes later, in an astonishing reversal, Dobriansky returned to announce, to cheers from the hall: 'We will go forward and join the consensus.'”
What I wouldn’t do for a transcript of that speech - and the rest of the session for that matter.

Careful what you wish for. I understand that the final session of the Bali conference was 20 hours beyond its expected close.

I read a suggestion that W's own climate conference in January was risking the embarrassment of having no attendees...therefore the compromise.
I think i was there when you were wondering....not about the conference but the Nyquil Duo.
