That's A Tall Bike.

What do you call it? Today was the first ride in shorts!

I saw one of these in Ames last week. I called it a stacked bike. Must be all the rage with kids these days -- before you know it they will be as omnipresent as fixies!!

...or not. But we can dream, right?

They are Tallbikes and the Minneapolis readers can't remember a time when they didn't exist.

Yep, it is local. Snapped the photo on my way home yesterday.

Couldn't do shorts this morning, but knickers, at least. I'm so ready for shorts weather.

If I remember right, awhile back one of those was heading across an overpass somewhere here in the Cities -- the rider lost control and ended up on the interstate below. Wasn't pretty.

Ewww...that possibility occurs to me on a bridge I cross regularly. Mostly I wonder just how likely it could be. The rail seems to be at thigh level. Hardly within safety parameters for those officials preferring cycles on sidewalks.
