Yeah, I've done that. Now I use a SRAM chain with a PowerLink on the chain and a spare PowerLink in the seat bag.
That ain't the first chain he's snapped in the winter.Michael, pay heed to this admonition;Get thee some WD40 and be liberal in its application!!!!!!!Don't bother wiping the chain, just spray the living daylights out of it, and leave it.
